The needs of our residents will always come first. We understand that the people we serve are our customers and like all businesses we want to provide a great service. We go above and beyond to help provide a foundation that will allow our residents to focus on aspects of their life that will help them improve and move forward.

We offer more than just a bed and meals. Providing amenities, scheduling activities and classes that nurture the person is what we are most proud of.

We provide safe, comfortable, clean, substance abuse free homes for adults in all demographics who may be in need of housing. Whether the arrangement is transitional or permanent, we want to offer a transition out of hardship.

Our mission is to provide safe and affordable housing for the most vulnerable and/or impacted communities in the greater Metro Detroit area. Our target populations include: Veteran’s, Fixed Income Recipients, Housing Insecure Male and Female Adults. We accept persons with Medicaid/Medicare or other third party pays, as well as private pay on a case by case basis.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″]

They are appointed by Slim Haven staff and may receive discounted rent and/or a private room when available in exchange for being head of household. They are required to attain a Michigan Food Handlers Certificate. We provide the training and certification.[/vc_column_text]

Every person must contribute to daily cleaning chores. We provide deep cleaning services once a month. The House Manager typically lives in the home or on the property as a tenant and oversees the cleaning, cooking, and overall harmony in the household.[/vc_column_text]
